BREEAM, HQE, Laws and regulations

Hydrelis' equipment enable buildings to conform to standards and recommendations issued by several organisations :

BREEAM - BREEAM is the Environmental Assessment Method developed by the Building Research Establishment (BRA), in the UK. It recommends the use of leak detection equipment on all mains supplies together with an audible detection system that, preferably, can be adjusted to detect different flow rates. Hydrelis equipment exceeds BREEAM specifications as the reaction time of the alarm is automatically calculated by the system in function of the flow rate. Moreover, the Clip-Flow can cut-off the water.

Association HQE (Association for Environmental High-quality) is the French equivalent of BREEAM. It has developed the « Charte HQE » whose « Cible 5 » gathers recommendations and best practices in the Management of Water.

DIN1988 standard recommends in particular that water supply in an installation be switched-off when it is not used for 3 days or more. The Clip-Flow can be programmed to cut-off the water supply automatically after 3 days without utilisation.
